Here are some of my favorite recent pictures and some back story.
Camping along the Mississippi was one of the unexpected highlights of the trip. The weather was great, the campground was quiet and we had a fantastic spot. I was sitting outside the motorhome when I took this picture.
The “bird” was nice enough to pose for about 10 different pics.
Here’s the view from above at our campsite outside of Branson. This would also be the scene of skunk activity and getting sliced open like a peach.
No comment needed.
I can’t comment enough about Luke. The giant Bumbus Hound that seems to continue to grow. One of his favorite things to do around the campsite is each burnt “things”. I have no idea whether it’s wood or food but at that level of incineration it’s all charcoal. Apparently his nose can detect small traces of what must have once been food. In any case, he eats a lot of this crap. He’s become a bit of a campfire ring clean out specialist. He IS ALL BOY!!!
Here are 2 of the countless cactus needles we pulled out of Luke. He just blasts through anything in his way. ALL BOY!!
The sky in CO, WY and Montana are just so big and full of layers.
A few of the horse at a riding place.
